Profile
Ang Yu is a social science methodologist specializing in causal inference. Broadly, he is interested in formalizing substantive questions in terms of nonparametric estimands and developing machine learning–based statistical inference. His methodological work is largely motivated by research on social stratification. He is eager to work with students who value clarity and rigor in thinking about social science questions.
