Dongcheng He is a Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Social Science. He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Denver and was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on understanding human visual perception and cognition through eye-tracking, EEG, psychophysics, and computational modeling. Specifically, he investigates how the brain encodes, learns, and imitates others' body movements, from early visual processing (e.g., perceptual organization) to sensorimotor transformations.
