Jingyi WANG 王靚怡

Jingyi (Karen) Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Social Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on the family as a central context for children’s development, with particular attention to families facing heightened risks, including low-income families, families affected by psychopathology, and those navigating major life transitions. She examines patterns of family functioning and their implications for children’s development, identifies relationships and processes that protect against adversity, and investigates how these protective factors can guide parenting and relationship support tailored to families’ needs.
