WONG

Wong Kwan To (KT) is a Lecturer in the Division of Social Science at HKUST. He is mainly responsible for teaching research methods, statistics and economics-related courses for social science students.

KT earned his PhD from HKU, applying behavioural economics to understand anomaly in housing market. He got Bachelor of Economics from HKU also as well MPhil (Economics) from CUHK. KT has keen interest in research methods in social science as well as applied econometrics, besides economic applications in our built environment. He is a Fellow at Advance HE (UK) and was mentor and reviewers for Advance HE applications (HKU scheme) before.

Before joining HKUST in 2023, KT has been working as a lecturer at HKU between 2014-2023 and took up a role of deputy program director for MSc in Real Estate between 2020-2023. He was also appointed to be an Honorary Assistant Professor at HKU between 2017-2020. And in fact, he has a long history with HKUST before 2013.
