Profile
Yifan Shen is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Social Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received his PhD in Sociology from Brown University. His research examines family demography, social stratification, and health and mortality, with a focus on how family patterns intersect with economic and health inequality across the life course. His work has appeared in Demography and the American Journal of Sociology.
